Revelation 7:1-17
At the end of chapter 6, everyone from kings to slaves, were hiding from the wrath of God that was about to be unleashed on the earth. They called out, βWho can stand?β
Now, in chapter 7, we see who can stand: the servants of God who have been sealed. (v 3)
π Before the throne (v 9-10):
β’ a great multitude
β’ all tribes, people, language
β’ clothed in white robes
β’ palm branches in hand
β’ praising God and the Lamb
π Who are they (v 13-15)?
β’ ones coming out of the great tribulation
β’ robes made white in the blood of the Lamb
β’ ever before the throne / serving God day and night
π What is done for them (v 15-17)?
β’ God shelters them with his presence
β’ they hunger no more
β’ they thirst no more
β’ they are protected from the scorching heat
β’ the Lamb is their shepherd and guides them to springs of living water
β’ every tear is wiped from their eyes
πΆ
Are you washed
In the blood
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb
Are your garments spotless
Are they white as snow
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb
πΆ
You are loved.
