What does it look like to consider others as more significant than ourselves (Philippians 2:3?) Honestly, y’all, it’s not that complicated.

It would look like being happy when others experience good things.

It would look like speaking uplifting words to others.

It would look like showing a genuine interest in the lives of others.

Hold a pencil in your hand. Lift it high above your head. A little higher. As high as you can.

No matter how high you lifted the pencil – you didn’t sink lower. Uplifting others doesn’t mean debasing ourselves.

It’s exhausting to constantly elevate ourselves; it’s work. But it’s exhilarating to uplift others; it’s joy.

Let’s love lavishly. Give generously. Serve sacrificially. Just like Jesus.
