Luke 12:4-12
Even the hairs of your head are all numbered (v 7).
The Lord cares about the tiniest details of our existence.
If we have been in church very long – we know John 3:16. For God so loved the world…
And I used to imagine God looking down from heaven at the whole world and his view of us being like the pictures we see taken from space. Big round earth. Maybe some bodies of water visible. No details. No individuals.
But the reality is that – when God looks down – he has Holy vision that zooms in and takes note of every detail of his creation.
He sees you. He sees me.
He sees our successes and struggles. Our troubles and triumphs. Our failings and faithfulness.
And it all matters to him.
When Martha was overwhelmed, she asked, “Lord, don’t you care?”
When the disciples were afraid, they asked, “Lord, don’t you care?”
The answer, friends, is “yes.” Jesus cares deeply. He’s completely devoted. He’s all in with you.
He knows every hair on your head.
You are loved.
