Exodus 10

Over and over, in our reading of Exodus, God has made it clear that his purpose is that Pharaoh and the Egyptians would know that He is the Lord. His purpose is revelation.

So, it really stood out to me today that this time – the purpose of this 8th plague – was that Moses would know that He was the Lord. God’s purpose moves from revelation to reminder.

Have you ever needed to be reminded that He is the Lord? That everything falls under His control? That nothing and no one falls through the cracks? That He is aware of the tiniest detail of your situation?
