I was given Devotions from the Front Porch and it speaks to me in a new way every morning. I recently retired and turn 60 all at the same time. It is a new life and although exciting a little scary. Your book gives me refreshment and inspiration for my new day. I have since ordered more copies for friends. God bless.

My friend gave me your book Devotions from the Front Porch for Christmas, and I love it. Another friend had given me the book Devotions for Christmas for Christmas, which I really love too. However, until I searched your info on the Net and saw your list of books, I had no idea that you wrote the Christmas book, as your name isn’t listed on it anywhere!! Why did Zondervan not list you as the author? These devotions are so down-home, calm and inviting , and makes a person want to “sit a spell” and just relax! Thank you! Hi Stacy! I ordered your fall devotional and was amazed how rich, real and deep your devotions are!! I kept ordering all the devotions that you’ve written (and a few you didn’t by mistake lol…didn’t finish those) and am hoping you are going to write more?!! I sent my sister, who recently lost her husband, your Easter devotional and she adores it (despite us being “devotional snobs” 😂) And now she is enjoying the front porch as am I … I’m going through it for the second time and using Biblehub commentaries to really deepen my understanding of the verse each day!
