Matthew 4:12-25

John the Baptist’s message had been, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 3:2

Upon John’s arrest, Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

When Jesus sent his apostles out, he told them to proclaim the gospel and say, “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 10:7

The message has always been the same. ♥️

👉 The first disciples:

• Simon Peter
• Andrew
• James
• John

Peter and Andrew left their nets. James and John left their boat and their father.

All four men left family and finances and familiarity behind and “immediately” followed.

👉 Jesus

• taught in the synagogues
• proclaimed the gospel
• healed every disease and affliction
• healed the demon possessed

Jesus addressed the physical and spiritual needs of the people.
