Jeremiah 1:1-19

👉 God knows and chose Jeremiah (v 5).

• I created you
• I consecrated you
• I choose you

👉 Jeremiah – as humans are prone to do – makes it about himself (v 6).

• I do not know how to speak
• I am too young

👉 God reminds Jeremiah that He is in charge and in control (v 7-10).

• I send you
• I command you
• I have set you
• I am with you
• I have put you

👉 God’s Commands (v 17)

• dress yourself for work [prepare]
• arise [get to it]
• say to them everything I command [obedience]
• do not be dismayed [faith over fear]
