I love the parable of the persistent widow. This morning I was struck by the placement of this parable – immediately following the discussion on the unknown time of Jesus’ return.
As we wait for Jesus to come again – as we navigate this broken world – as we attempt to right wrongs and seek justice. As we wait…
Always pray (v 1).
Don’t lose heart (v 1).
Keep coming to Jesus (v 3).
Keep pleading (v 3).
Cry out to Jesus (v 7).
Be found faithful when he returns (v 8 ).
