Isaiah 1:21-31 The Afterward

Isaiah 1:21-31

God’s people were once:
• faithful
• righteous
• abundant
• regal
• full of justice

But they had become:

• unfaithful
• murderers
• ruined
• watered down
• thieves
• unjust

And, therefore – God brought judgement (v 25).

Completely justified judgement. If that were the end of the story – no one could question that it was deserved.

And, yet, there is this beautiful word…

Afterward (v 26) ♥️

The unfaithfulness of the people led to judgement.

But the judgement of God led to afterward.

⭐️ repentance
⭐️ restoration
⭐️ righteousness
⭐️ redemption

Thank you, Lord, for the judgement that brings about the afterward.
