Proverbs 3:1-12
Why do we seek wisdom? Why does it matter that we know how to apply the Word as we make our way in this world?
Benefits of Wisdom:
• short term (days) and long term (years) benefits (v 2)
• heavenly (God) and earthly (man) benefits (v 4)
• practical benefits (v 6)
• external (flesh) and internal (bones) benefits (v 8)
• provision (full barn) and pleasure (overflowing vats of wine) related benefits (v 10)
• correction and discipline related benefits (v 12)
This isn’t just head knowledge that we are after here. God’s Word makes a difference in our day to day lives. ♥️ This is why we search for it like treasure and share what we find with others.
