Proverbs 2
How badly do I desire wisdom? Am I willing to work for it? Do I sometimes settle for knowledge and fail to gain wisdom?
If someone told me that there was treasure buried in my yard – and all I had to do was dig it up and it was all mine – how quickly would I get to work?
The riches of wisdom are found in the pages of Scripture but I have to want it bad enough to seek it – to search for it – to put in the effort.
If I do, then wisdom:
• will guide me (v 9-10)
• will protect me (v 11-12)
• will remind me (v 17)
• will reward me (v 20-21)
