Psalm 149 Joy and Justice

Psalm 149

Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands (v 6).

👉 God’s people are to be people of joy (v 1-6.)

Have you ever meant believers who lacked joy? Yeah, it’s not a great testimony to the goodness of God.

👉 God’s people are to be people of justice (v 7-9).

The quote has been attributed to several people but, regardless of who said it first, it’s words ring true. “All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.” Scripture is filled with the command to seek justice for the oppressed, weak, and needy.

Our lives should be marked by both joy and justice.

Happy Sunday, y’all. ♥️
