Psalm 133 Living in Unity

Psalm 133

v 1

It is good {pleasant, desirable, in order, usable, efficient}…

and pleasant {lovely, delightful, happy}…

when brothers dwell in unity {community, together, in one accord}.

When we live like this ☝️ – it is like oil on the head of Aaron (v 2). Aaron was the priest and oil on his head was a sign of his calling. It was holy and precious.

Living in unity is also like dew on Mt. Zion (v 3). Dew was crucial during a dry, difficult season where growth was hard to come by – it meant fruitfulness.

When we live in unity – it is a sign of our calling in Christ and it is crucial for spiritual growth in difficult seasons.
