Psalm 82
What does the Lord want from me?
We ask this question often and, myself included, act as if the answer is deep and unknowable.
In reality, God says it over and over. Hundreds of times in various ways.
Do good.
Care for the poor.
Tend to the least of these.
Bear the failings of the weak.
The weak, the fatherless, the afflicted, the poor, the destitute, the needy? They’re all around us. We know it and the Lord knows it.
So, what are doing for them? How are we fighting to maintain their rights? How are we caring for them? How are we walking with them?
What are we doing?
