Psalm 70
One commentary I read said that the kindest thing we can do for our enemies is to pray that their plans for wickedness would fail.
Spurgeon once said, “No man can do me a truer kindness in this world than to pray for me.”
This psalm served as a great reminder to me today that I need to pray for everyone I meet.
👉 For my enemies – that their plans would be thwarted (vs 1-3.)
👉 For my fellow believers- that they would find their joy in the Lord (vs 4.)
👉 For myself – that I would see the poor and helpless state my flesh leaves me in and my desperate need for God (vs 5.)
Lord, make me a woman of prayer.
