Psalm 10: Through the Lens of Scripture

Psalm 10

If we neglect the reading of Godโ€™s Word, then we are offering our minds up to the enemy to fill as he chooses. And what web of lies will he spin?

๐Ÿ‘‰ God has forgotten me (vs 11.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ God doesnโ€™t see the evil happening (vs 11.)

If we neglect the reading of Godโ€™s Word, we are left to view our circumstances through our feelings.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord is far away (vs 1.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord is hiding himself from me (vs 1.)

But, within the pages of Godโ€™s Word, we find the truth regarding God, the wicked, and the upright.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord has not forgotten the afflicted (vs 12.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ The wicked will be called out on their wickedness (vs 13, 15.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord notes all the mischief taking place and is the helper of the helpless (vs 14.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord is near enough to hear our cries, strengthen our hearts, and listen to our prayers (vs 17.)

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Lord acts justly (vs 18.)

Itโ€™s a whole different view when we look at the world through the lens of Scripture.
