When all around me seems chaotic and out of control, I am reminded that You are the keeper of my soul.

When I’m wounded and weary by sword-like words spoken, I am reminded that You draw near to the broken.

When I feel helpless – not knowing what to do, I am reminded that it’s not about me, but You.

You are the answer when I don’t know what to say. You are the truth, the life, and the way.

The world doesn’t need my impassioned cries; it needs the One whose words make dead men rise.
