Can I just be honest? Sometimes, my anxiety runs away with me.

I hear of people breaking into cars in my neighborhood and I begin to worry.

I read animosity online and feel at odds with everyone.

I see empty shelves at the grocery store and fear begins to slip in.

Today’s psalm – by no accident – speaks to the very things that have been troubling me. In just two verses, God reminds me that He – and He alone – provides protection, peace, and provision. He can be trusted to do the things that He has promised to do.

Maybe someone else needed to reminded of that as well.
