I still remember the way I would dread February. Seriously, like the way a turkey dreads Thanksgiving kind of dread. It was such a pitiful time for me because (cue sad violin music) I did not have a special someone. Not in high school. Not in college. Not for several years. So, the pink and red and hearts and cupids all made me want to vomit. Okay, maybe that is a little harsh. It hurt, y’all. Someone out there knows where I’m coming from.
