You have probably tried to have them. You have gathered your children in the living room, brought out the leather Bible and tried to have a family devotion time.
You read a verse, asked Tommy to quit jumping on the couch, read another verse, tried to distract the baby with a toy, re-read the first verse because you forgot where you were… Sound familiar? Then, at the end, you were frustrated and the children were not exactly excited about repeating the experience the next night.
What went wrong?
Join me over at Family Matters for some tips on how to have an effective family devotion time!
My family resembles that remark, except in our case we would be busy chasing dogs off of sofas, stopping dogs from chasing each other, stopping my daughter from petting the dogs and on it goes! I went over to the Family Matters blog and read your ABC’s, and found them simple, helpful and straight to the point. Thank you!
