LifeWay on the Move

I work for a fabulous company.  Seriously, it’s pretty great.  Remember Turkey Day?  Yeah.  ‘Nuff said.

Well, last week was LifeWay on the Move day.  It was the day when 350 of our employees set out in our lovely matching t-shirts for a 3-mile walk downtown.

Now, for those of us who did not read the fine print, it turns out this little shindig is going to be a monthly event.  I’m not feelin’ it, though.  I mean, it’s all fun and games until it’s July and I’m sweating like a pig and trying to take a sponge bath in the restroom.  All I’m sayin’ is you probably don’t need to be looking for me on the first Friday of the month until about October.

Sharon, Amy and I did what we do when they let us outside the walls of the executive suite.

We lose all control and pretend to be tourists.

This touristy thing is hard work.  Luckily, the nice folks that work for the city had set up a water station.

Because of all the picture taking, I was passed by certain people who shall remain nameless.

I am really not a sports enthusiast, but posing by the  Titans emblem gave me a reason to lean against this   wall and catch my breath.

And, then, we rested again.

And then we…well, you get the idea.

Oh, LifeWay on the Move…it’s been real.

All’s well that ends…with tacos and cheese dip and SATCO was hit with a wave of blue t-shirts that day.

The only thing that could have made it better was if Lizette had been there…
