I’m currently in grad school – half way to my Master’s in Theological Studies. Normally, I just have class on Tuesdays.  However, for the month of January, class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays which…in my world…makes a huge difference.  Between work and family and school and church – by Friday, my brain is mush.  So, I decided I would do something fun today.

I get asked all the time how I could possibly carry such a large purse.  This is the one I currently carry.

Now, for me, this is really not even that large of a purse.  But, anywho.  Today, I am answering the question often asked of me…What in the world do you keep in there?

Well, I keep the usual things…

A wallet.

This, however, is not just any wallet.  It’s one I got from Dave Ramsey’s website and it has these neat little envelopes inside…

…which then, theoretically, you would fill with cash and have a better chance of staying within your budget.

Then, a girl should always have some spare jewelry around…

…in case a situation arises where you would need to accessorize.

Oh, and these are always good to have tucked in a pocket somewhere.

Who doesn’t want a free kid’s meal from Chick-fil-A…or two?

Then, because I have girls, I always need one of these.

And, because I am a girl, I need a couple of these.

And, well, I can’t even explain how this happens except to say that I am my mother’s daughter.

Super cute kleenexes.  Of course, they are too cute for me to actually use.

Then, there’s this.  I never leave home without one.  This mommy business is tough and, sometimes, I just need one.

You should always have a snack ready…

And, this?  I don’t even know what you would call it except, quite possibly, the neatest Christmas gift ever.

It is fabulous for cleaning flat screens, iPads, iPhones.

I just love it.

So, there you go.  Everything you never wanted to know about what is in my purse.

Next week, we’ll look at what is in my car…  Just kidding.  I would never put anyone through that.  Seriously.
