I knew I had to be intentional. Getting up early was not just going to happen. So, I did it. I set the alarm for 4:30 a.m.
She rises while it is yet night… – Proverbs 31:15
And, oddly enough, the alarm did go off. So, I stumbled to the living room – Bible, journal and pen in hand.
And, there He was…waiting patiently for me.
No condemnation for the weeks of haphazard prayer and Bible study. No guilt trip for the times I left Him waiting to spend time with me while I rushed about doing other things.
We had a great talk.
It was nice.
I believe I will do it again tomorrow.
